Why get bathroom tiling done?

One of the main reasons why it’s important to get your bathroom tiled is longevity. With traditional paint on your bathroom walls, steam and splashes can be damaging over time and in some cases introduce mold. Hence, we will offer professional tiling and sealant installation, so that water splashes and steam are resisted and stay this way for many years. Bathroom tiles are also:

  • Easier to clean. Simply grab a cloth, some white vinegar and a quick wipe will do
  • Aesthetically pleasing and contribute to not only a simplistic, modern bathroom that reflects light for that glossy finish.

How long does it take to tile a bathroom?

It depends on the size of the bathroom and whether it’s wall, floor, ceiling tiling or all of the above. With smaller bathrooms, on average these will be completed in a day or two, but as a result of their size and contents, large family bathrooms will take longer. However, we will be realistic with you on the length of time required from day one.

What should come first in a bathroom, tiling or plumbing?

While sometimes the tiling might be done first, such as when the bathroom appliances sit on top of the tiles, we would generally recommend that your bathroom plumbing is done first. This way, the plumber has more room to work with and tiles don’t have to be removed and repositioned based on last minute adjustments.
